Chrono Trigger

Chrono Trigger begins with Crono, a young adventurer, attending the Millennial Fair in his hometown, where he meets a girl named Marle. An experiment with a teleportation device by Crono’s friend Lucca goes awry, causing Marle to vanish into a rift in time. Crono and Lucca quickly discover that the pendant Marle carried caused her to be drawn into the past. The trio embarks on a quest to rescue her, only to find themselves traveling through various eras, from prehistoric times to a post-apocalyptic future. As they journey through time, they uncover a looming threat that could lead to the world’s end, orchestrated by a creature known as Lavos. The team resolves to prevent this catastrophic future by altering events across different timelines to thwart Lavos’s emergence.

Gameplay Mechanics and Innovative Features

Chrono Trigger employs a turn-based combat system integrated with an Active Time Battle system, where each character’s actions are governed by a time gauge that fills at varying speeds based on their attributes.
